LONDON – Lisle Licensing has announced the appointment of RP2 Global as master toy partner for Bottersnikes & Gumbles in the UK, Eire and Australia. A range of innovative and fun toys capturing the humorous, distinctive and playful world of Bottersnikes & Gumbles, depicted in the multi award-winning series will include plastic and vinyl figures, feature plush and role play toys and will launch in the UK in Spring/Summer 2018.

Given the content will live in the digital space as well as on a traditional broadcast channel, enables the property to cover all kids.”
Based on the much-loved series of books by S.A. Wakefield, Bottersnikes & Gumbles (52 x 11’) follows the adventures of three squashy, stretchy Gumble heroes, as they try to avoid getting tin-canned by their lazy, grumpy neighbours, the Bottersnikes. Described as ‘fun and endearing’ the CGI animated series launched on CBBC in July 2016 and airs weekdays at 07.10 and 15.35 with brand new episodes premiering this month. Bottersnikes & Gumbles is set to debut on NETFLIX in the UK this Summer.
A game coproduced with CBBC was launched in October 2016. Available on desktop, tablet and mobile Gumble Run has seen a good start featuring among the top 10 games consistently each week since launch. A publishing deal with Hachette will see storybooks and sticker and activity books for young readers coming to the UK and Australia.
Bottersnikes & Gumbles has won a number of awards including the prestigious 2016 Pulcinella Award for ‘Best Kids TV Series’ at Cartoons on the Bay, the 2016 Gold AEAF Award for ‘Best Opening Titles’ and the 2016 Promax BDA Silver Award for ‘Best Program Title Sequence’. It has been nominated for a Kidscreen Award for Best New Kids Series; results to be announced this month.
Bottersnikes & Gumbles is co-produced by Cheeky Little Media and Mighty Nice in Australia and CAKE in the UK and also airs on 7TWO in Australia and globally in 17 languages on NETFLIX.
